1. This is a legal agreement between you, the purchaser, and Planetizen, Inc. ("Planetizen"), regarding your use of content provided by Planetizen in portable document format (PDF), eBook, digital video, digital audio, or other electronic form ("Digital Content"). By purchasing the Digital Content, you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.
2a. Grant of License For Individual version of the Digital Content.
If you purchased an individual license, Planetizen hereby grants to you (an individual) the revocable, personal, non-exclusive, and nontransferable right to install and activate the Digital Content solely for your personal and non-commercial use. Sharing the Digital Content with other individuals, or allowing other individuals to view the contents of the Digital Content, is in violation of this license. You may not in any way provide the Digital Content to multiple users, unless you have first purchased an enterprise license from Planetizen and are acting within the scope of the institution license. The fact that the Digital Content is easy to copy does not make it legal to do so. Without exception, legal permission for additional users to use the Digital Content requires an enterprise license or additional Licenses for Individuals.
2b. Grant of License for Enterprise version of the Digital Content.
Planetizen hereby grants to you (an institution, agency or private company) the revocable, non-exclusive, and nontransferable right to install and activate the Digital Content for your non-commercial use. Pursuant to this license, you may share the Digital Content with other individuals who are employees (such as co-workers, administrator or faculty) in your organization, or students of your college or university. ALLOWING INDIVIDUALS OUTSIDE OF YOUR ORGANIZATION OR NOT EMPLOYED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION TO VIEW THE CONTENTS OF THE Digital Content, IS IN VIOLATION OF THIS LICENSE.
3. Copyright.
The Digital Content is owned by Planetizen and all content included in this book, such as text, graphics, logos, images, and data compilations is the property of Planetizen, Inc. or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not remove or conceal any proprietary notices, labels or marks from the Digital Content. You may not redistribute or publish any portion of the Digital Content without prior written permission from Planetizen. Further, the PDF of the Digital Content provided to you by Planetizen is encoded with your email address. Your email address may also be set as your password to access the Digital Content. You may not remove this encoding from the Digital Content.
4. Acknowledgment.
By downloading the Digital Content, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the foregoing and that you agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
